She has over 30 years of Payroll and Benefits process and information technology experience.She has extensive training and experience in payroll administration, withholding, taxation, project implementations, process improvement, payroll best practices, quality management, and pension and supplemental unemployment benefit administration.

Ms. Harling holds a B.A. degree in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Michigan.has maintained Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) status since 1988.Her previous experience includes leading a team responsible for processing over ten million payroll, pension, and supplemental benefits checks and deposit notices annually.
Ms. Harling is very active in the Detroit Chapter of the American Payroll Association (APA). Her responsibilities in the Chapter have included Chapter President, Government Liaison, Hot Line Consultant, numerous speaking engagements, and chairing the CPP Study Group for Payroll Professionals.She was named Michigan Payroll Professional of the Year in 1991 and 2000.
A longtime APA member, Ms. Harling has also been active on the national level.She
has presented workshops at the APA's Annual Congress and served as an Consultant
for the Hot Line Referral Service. For the past twenty years, she has served as a
member on the APA's National Government Affairs Task Force (GATF), directly involved
